Happy first lesson!

The first private lesson will be 45 mins long and discounted so that you can try out the studio, meet me, and see if it’s a good fit!

In our first lesson, we will be starting off slow with basic movements, and we will discuss any physical limitations, disabilities, and boundaries that you would like to share with me. I will get to know your learning style and will tailor your lessons to your comfort level and how you learn best.

We will also discuss dance goals, explore dance styles, and dance! Depending on each student’s comfort level.

this class is for people who are comfortable dancing a cross body lead in closed and open frame and have an understanding of the basics.

no partner needed to join

in this class, we’ll be refining body movement, frame, partnering, and move into more advanced patterns.

4 weeks of salsa on1 for advanced beginners. the classes will progress as the month goes on and we will build on what we learn each week. $10 discount when you buy a pack of 4.

We’ll be teaching elements of traditional, modern, and sensual bachata, and we'll also talk about how they are similar and different.

in this class, we’ll go over basic steps, instruments, history, frame, partnering, and patterns.

4 weeks of bachata basics @ a discount. the classes will progress as the weeks go on and we’ll build on what we learn. $10 discount with this pack.

every 2nd & 3rd Saturday of the month

learn the basic steps, technique, and musical differences for these two ballroom dances adapted from Afro-Caribbean dance styles

in this gc we’ll learn the basic steps, rhythm frame, partnering, timing, and history.

4-pack of latin ballroom for beginners group classes. the classes will build on each other each week, and layers of technique will be added. drop ins always welcome and no one will be left behind.

After you’ve attended your introductory lesson, which is discounted @ $40, full private lessons will be 1 hour long and will be tailored to your individual needs and wants!

we will work on coordination, balance, strength, timing, musicality, patterns, partnering, and more. We’ll also chat about which dance styles you’re interested in and what your goals are / set goals together.

practice what you’ve been learning in a low-stakes, safer environment or come for the first time and learn some basics of the popular dances, salsa and bachata. I will be there dancing and available to teach basics, answer questions, and offer support.

this is a great option for folks who might feel hesitant or intimidated to go out social dancing at a larger scale. take a baby step with us and dance with us queers first. :)
